The vision of Production Monitoring is to be the heart of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's IT production. Our primary role is to monitor and rectify errors in the agency's IT infrastructure, applications, and services around the clock. We develop tools and methods to enable proactive actions and thereby intervene before a disruption has consequences for operations or citizens.

Summer Job, IT Technician, IT Operations and IT Monitoring

In the role of IT technician, the main responsibility is to monitor daily production and act quickly in case of deviations to minimize unavailability for internal and external users. This means that you, as a summer temp, together with the regular staff, will resolve incidents, create problem cases, and participate in implementing changes in accordance with the ITIL framework. The work involves many points of contact with both internal and external parties, where an important part of your job is to quickly disseminate correct operational information to the stakeholders involved during an incident.

Since the operation runs 24/7, every day of the year, you will work according to one of the group's appreciated schedules, including both day and night shifts. As we actively support each other in the area, other tasks within the Production Center may also become relevant during the employment period.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

  • is studying data, IT, technology, or system science at a university or college
  • has technical knowledge of Windows Server platforms and Linux
  • is service-oriented and has a good demeanor
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • has a systematic and meticulous work approach
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you

  • have certified training in IT
  • have experience from work that the employer assesses as equivalent.

Several positions, temporary, full-time, with start in May or June until August 31, 2026. There may be a possibility of extension. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required.
